About the Business

Welcome to Manor Vets Seven Days a Week - Did you know that all our pictures on this site are genuine Manor Vets staff? Our practice is based on mutual trust and respect, offering support, compassion and genuine care, and involving you in all decisions about your pet. Our team can advise you how to keep your pet as healthy as possible, using safe and effective preventative medicines. All our surgeries are air conditioned, and we regularly invest in the very best modern veterinary diagnostic instruments, x-ray, laboratory, anaesthetic and surgical equipment.

This means your pet will receive the best possible care and treatment. There are seventeen full time and three part time veterinary surgeons across our four sites. They share their vast knowledge of the latest treatments through frequent meetings. We also have consulting veterinary nurses at all sites. And from February 2012 we are open 24 hours at our Halesowen site.

This vet lost my cat after it went in for a routine castration due to the negligence of the nurse. The worst part was the lies they told in trying to cover it up, the lack of sympathy on that fact my cat was lost - they didn't even say sorry in fact they tried to divert the blame. They have said that my cat basket was broken - it was not, it was new and in fact since the loss several of my cats have been safely carried in this basket. Apart from this the basket has been independently tested and has been found to be void of any defects and fully functional. Second, they said it was feral - it was not. It was a cat I had taken in and had been looking after since it was a kitten and was very loved. They are very uncompassionate and only have said that at least it won't get female cats pregnant. They have binned my posters of my cat at the Edgbaston branch - this is the extent of their compassion. Also the nurse was quite prepared to put a collar a very frightened and stressed out cat after a neutering even though she knew it would stress out the cat even more. When I complained the response was even more shocking - no remorse - in fact the person said they didn't have time for 'my arguments with staff' - this was not an argument, but an unhappy and concerned customer who had serious concerns with the actions of a member of staff - when I said I would be redrawing my pets from the practice and writing a bad review - the attitude all seemed to change. I would strongly recommended that if you care about your pets do not trust them with your dearest companions - they state they treat your pets as their own - well if this is now they treat customer pets then maybe they should not be pet owners.
