About the Business
The Midland Veterinary Surgery was established in 2001 by Brian Stenson and William Wildgoose, both of whom had worked for over 20 years in the practice, which was formerly owned by Ronald Gardner. Our suburban practice is situated in Leyton, East London. It is a four-vet practice that cares for companion pets, such as cats, dogs, rabbits and other small furries, but we have an additional interest in exotic pets such as birds, reptiles and ornamental fish. The building is a former drinking house that was converted into a veterinary surgery in the 1970s and has recently been extensively renovated.
We have been a veterinary nurse Training Practice for many years and currently have six listed VNs. In 2008, the practice became an RCVS accredited small animal practice. This is a voluntary quality assurance scheme, that requires a rigorous inspection (carried out every four years) by an experienced veterinary surgeon appointed by the RCVS.
