The Dales Veterinary Centre

Consulations are by appointment Monday to Friday with an open surgery on Saturday mornings. Unique in the Yorkshire area, The Dales Veterinary Centre is one of only a handful of veterinary centres in the UK to have acess to laser surgery. Laser surgery involves the use of a carbon dioxide laser to vapourise tissue using a ceramic tipped handle producing a highly controllable sterile incision that causes less discomfort than the traditional use of a scalple and scissors.

We know how you feel. We have pets too. When you book any surgical procedure you know it has to be done for the benefit of your pet. But you may be concerned about the associated pain and discomfort this may cause your pet. We understand because we're concerned about pain and discomfort too. Almost all surgical procedures for pets can now be performed with a laser! The same tool that is used in human medicine will now be used for your pet's surgery.
