The practice has two partners, Phil Bareham and WendyLane, with a team of four vets, two nurses, one student nurse and numerous auxiliary nurses and receptionists. The veterinary surgery was established way back in 1962 when it was little more than a terraced house.

Armac Veterinary Group Ltd is an independently owned, small animal, first opinion practice and 24 hour emergency hospital (Pets A&E). Established in Bury in 1984. The emergency hospital was set up in2004. Armac is an RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) approved practice. Their accreditation is awarded to confirm we are working to the Royal College's high standard guidelines. They perform regular inspections to ensure these high standards are maintained.

Beech House is a new, modern, small animal veterinary practice on the outskirts of Radcliffe and Little Lever. We provide first and second opinion clinics to the surrounding areas as well aspreventative healthcare and more specialised surgeries in soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics. The resident veterinary surgeon and owner is Shaun Alcock BVetMed MRCVS and is the main vet in the practice, so you will usually see the same person on each visit or in an emergency.
