About the Business
Metrovets opened on the 7th July 2008 in Longbenton. The practice has been set up by Neil Murdoch, who has worked in the Newcastle area, caring for domestic pets for over 16 years. Care will be provided for poorly pooches, fragile felines and rundown rodents!
We aim to provide trusted clinical care and high level of personal service in a friendly and sympathetic practice. We understand the importance of the wellbeing of your pets and aim to make the experience of visiting the vets as pleasant a one as possible. We are committed to keeping up with the latest developments in modern veterinary practice, providing high quality treatment at sensible prices.
When animals are ill they are often seen by several different veterinary surgeons throughout the course of their treatment, which can be highly unsettling for both them and their owners. However, as the only practicing vet at the surgery Neil can promise a continuity of personal service rarely provided by other practices.
