We take care of your pets as if they were our own and we've been doing it for more than 25 years. Specialising in total health care of pet dogs, cats and rabbits, our mission is to work with you to make sure that your pet enjoys a long, active and happy life.
Metrovets opened on the 7th July 2008 in Longbenton. The practice has been set up by Neil Murdoch, who has worked in the Newcastle area, caring for domestic pets for over 16 years. Care will be provided for poorly pooches, fragile felines and rundown rodents! We aim to provide trusted clinical care and high level of personal service in a friendly and sympathetic practice.
The practice was established in 1970 in Heaton Park Rd. and soon after moved into larger premises on Heaton Rd. Our main surgery is situated in the East End of Newcastle and we reach out to branches in Tynemouth and Ponteland. We are not a franchise or part of any large group. The welfare of our patients is still the primary motivating factor for everyone working here.
