Clare Vet Group was established in Ballyclare in 1980. Over the years the practice has expanded to the current thirteen vet, companion, farm and equine practice. We now operate from two branch clinicsat Whiteabbey and Cavehill as well as the main hospital premises in Ballyclare. Our team of thirteen vets, six qualified nurses, five auxiliary nurses and seven receptionists are dedicated to the provision of the latest, most advanced healthcare for your animal.

Established in 1942, our veterinary practices in Lisburn, Saintfield and Ballynahinch provide medical, surgical and dental care for domestic pets and farm stock. We have a dedicated team of tenfull-time veterinary surgeons, working alongside two qualified and three trainee veterinary nurses. We provide a 24 hour emergency service on-site at 49 Sloan Street to deal with those unexpected emergencies.
Our dedicated staff is led by John Doherty. In addition, we have 2 full time nurses and we also operate as a veterinary nurse training centre. Farmhill Veterinary Clinic is proud to be an approvedmember of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme.
We first opened in February 2004, in a small business unit on the Fenaghy Road in Galgorm, Ballymena. Within 4 years we had moved to a much larger premises on the Galgorm Road, and we are proud tohave opened our second clinic on the Greystone Road in Antrim in July 2012.

To Celebrate our Third Birthday in Newtownards, we are going to donate £1 from every consultation and £5 from every operation in the month of November to Assisi Animal Sanctuary.
