We are a traditional market town practice with modern facilities. We treat dogs, cats, rabbits, other small animals, horses and farm animals. All small animal consultations are by appointment for boththe convenience of clients, and so they can choose the vet they want to see. We are proud to provide our own out of hours emergency service 24/7 for registered clients, so it is always one of our own vets on call.
The Practice first started at the turn of the Century in York and was originally located in premises in The Crescent, York. Those premises were an adapted town house, which was quite usual forveterinary practices at the time. In 1985 the Practice was relocated to purpose built facilities at our current site in Salisbury Road. At that time the whole of the Practice functioned from the one location but small animal branch surgeries were later developed in Copmanthorpe and Haxby.
